About

Built from Love,
Designed for Memory.

RememberMe began with a simple question: how do we pass on our lives?

Photos fade in old phones or ripped in torn albums. Stories slip from memory. Videos get lost in the CD case. So we built a quiet, beautiful place where you can gather everything that matters in one private space.

It's not about death. It's about how people lived the laughter, the wisdom and the small moments. RememberMe helps you carry that forward.

"Document the now because tomorrow is sooner than you think and you'll want to be back here."

Our promise

Your memories are yours. Always private. Always secure. Always honored. Always kept beating.

The journey behind RememberMe

My Story

Where the Stories Began

Growing up, stories were a big part of my childhood. One of my earliest memories is my dad gathering mine and my brother's teddy bears, setting up a makeshift stage, and weaving stories out of thin air. When my nanny and papa came to look after us, the storytelling continued: my papa would spin tales of a mischievous cyclist who caused chaos at races, who only could be stopped by two brave boys (my brother and i). When camping with our family friends, my dad and my best friend's dad would create a series of stories of Vinny the Rat who travelled the London Underground.

Looking back, I wish I had captured those stories or the moments that they were shared in. As time moves forward, the clarity of those memories begins to fade and the people who made those times special begin to pass. All stories carry weight, and it's less about the content of the story and more about the experience of reliving it again.

The Moment That Changes How You See Those Moments

Like everyone I experienced loss throughout my life, but it wasn't until my mum passed away that the weight of losing a part of your family story truly sank in.

Years later, during a drive to school with my dad, we passed Exeter Airport, a place where my mum had once managed. A deep sadness washed over me. It wasn't just because she was gone it was the realization of how much of her story I never got to know.

"Who was she, beyond being my mum?"

That was the moment the vision for RememberMe was born.

A Living Archive, Not Just a Camera Roll

I imagined a space where memories weren't just stored but had its own heart beat keeping them alive. A place for photos and videos as well as voices, timelines, and multi-perspective stories.

A place to create an orchestra which played our lives. Where family and friends could come together, becoming musicians accompanying a loved one's life song, turning memories into a symphony.

Yes, scrapbooks and albums are beautiful but they're fragile, physical, and easy to forget. We have all had friends who have been struck with house fires, damage and even theft, leaving not much of the past left.

"What if we could carry the essence of someone's life with us, always without being limited by space or time?"

We carry around a device that can hold more pictures then an album, preserve someone's voice far long then our minds do and allows us to flood it with as many stories that we can tell, without telling us to shut up.

RememberMe is the space where old memories are woven into our present lives. A place to celebrate, remember, and keep stories alive not just for those we've lost, but for those still with us.

It gives us the opportunity to document our own lives so that we can look back on at each point with the power to say that we lived.

Do You Really Know Their Story?

"Ask yourself: Do you know your mum? Your dad? Your grandparents? The friend who stayed when no one else did?"

During the process of creating this app I have been connecting with my dad and asking the questions that I would want to ask my mum. And for me, getting to know my dad's life story has been a pleasure and a great privilege. Now I see him differently: I know his struggles, his triumphs, and the warrior he is.

But most of all, I've had the honour of giving him the space to tell his story.

Stories Are Moments, and Moments Fade

What I've come to understand is this: A life story is made of moments. And moments, unless captured, stored and revisited from time to time, fade.

As time goes on, those moments are forgotten. Stories get muddled. And soon, a person's life story is told only in fragments or not at all.

That's why I envisioned RememberMe as an app with its own heartbeat a platform that breathes new life into forgotten moments. One that doesn't let precious memories gather dust in a folder, or disappear into an old camera roll.

"If we forget the past, we become lost in history."

Not Just for the End But for Every Part of Life

I didn't want RememberMe to be a place where people begin to document after a diagnosis or death. I wanted it to capture both the good and the bad, the quiet and the loud because all of it makes up a life.

Getting to know my dad's story inspired me to go live mine. It lit a fire within me to find purpose, to ask more questions, to stay curious.

The Illusion of Time

When we're young, we think the people who care for us will always be there. They give us love, shelter, comfort and we don't question it.

But as we grow older, we start to see: They age. They carry scars. They are not invincible.

From dementia to death, or sudden change life can shift in an instant. Like a branch snapping off a tree. That's why we can't wait:

  • to ask.
  • to listen.
  • to remember.

"One day, the chance will be gone."

Now Is the Time to Create

Life means different things to different people. But many of us don't wake up to that meaning until it's nearly too late.

I realized something when I started this journey: if my mum didn't pass, I wouldn't have so many questions and RememberMe might never have happened. I have tried to create something good from the darkness. With this, I have had to start being present, learning, listening, remembering.

Don't miss the recital. Don't miss the moment. Don't miss the phone call. Start living and document your experiences!!

The only place I can learn about my mum now is through others. But even their stories will never truly be hers.

This Is Why RememberMe Exists

  • To give every person a chance to be remembered.
  • To give every memory a place to live.
  • To give every story the stage it deserves.
  • To make it possible to document life while it's happening and keep the moment beating even over the years not just after it ends.

RememberMe is a process, and that process starts with one question: what's your story?

What I've Found Out About My Mum

The only place I can learn about my mum now is through others. RememeberMe is where I gather what they shared with me small pieces, slowly forming a picture of who she really was.

Told by Dad

When she managed Exeter Airport she would layout all of the information on the bed and write pros and cons list when she had to make a decision

A friend remembered

"She was the lady that you would cross over the street to go and talk to" "Entertainer, hostess and a inspirational young lady"

Something she loved

On long journeys or even to school she found it mesmerising how everyone had somewhere to be, all rushing to do something.

A quiet detail

Sunday mornings hearing the birds chirping made her think about what they were telling each other.

This page will keep growing the way she keeps coming back to me, in pieces.

The Greatest Gift

"The greatest gift in life is to allow someone the space to speak their truth and thus, their story. While embracing every moment of ours."
